Master Of Technology (M.Tech)

“Master of Engineering or Master of Technology, abbreviated as M.E./M.tech is the postgraduate programme in engineering field”

In India, M.Tech degree is awarded after the successful completion of 2 years of study.
Usually, students enters in M.Tech programme after completing 4-years undergraduate programme in engineering which results in awarding the B.Tech degree.

Master of Technology (M.Tech) is the higher specialized course in the field of engineering. The duration of this course is 2 years. M.Tech provides you the insight and deep knowledge of the subjects that you have studied in your B.Tech course. Many well-known institutions run the M.Tech programme. There are also many colleges in India which offers M.Tech in part-time or distance mode.

Eligibility

1. For postgraduate engineering programme (M.Tech), students are admitted after they have obtained at least a college level Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) in related field.
2. Candidates having M.Sc degree in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent can also apply for M.Tech.
3. MCA candidates are also eligible to apply for specializations available in areas of computer science engineering.
